Top 5 Movember Guilty Pleasures List

What would a moustache month be without a guilty pleasures music list? Nothing right? That's what we thought! So here's our Top 5 Movember Guilty Pleasures List.

5. Electric Six - Danger! High Voltage

Electric Six is a six-piece band from Detroit, Michigan. Their style has been described as a brand of rock music infused with elements of "Garage, disco, punk rock, New wave, and metal." The band met recognition in 2003 with the singles "Danger! High Voltage" and "Gay Bar", and subsequently recorded nine full-length albums. Electric Six is in our Top 5 Movember Guilty Pleasures List, because of lead singer Tyler Spencers unforgettable mo in this video.

4. Günther & the Sunshine Girls - The Ding Dong Song

Mats Söderlund (born 25 July 1967, Sweden) is a Swedish musician, best known under his stage name Günther. Gunther's 2004 smash hit "Ding Dong Song" brought him world-wide recognition, with many tour dates across several ivy-league universities in the United States. Günther's music is, well, how shall I put it…just wrong! But his mo is totally okay! Check out his video.

3. Lionel Richie - Hello

Lionel Brockman Richie, Jr. (born June 20, 1949) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. Beginning in 1968, he was a member of the musical group Commodores signed to Motown Records. Richie made his solo debut in 1982 with the album Lionel Richie and number-one hit "Truly". In 2002, Richie's song "Running with the Night" was featured on the Rockstar North video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City though the song was removed from later versions of the game. In 2004, he appeared on Canadian Idol as his songs were featured during a Canadian Idol week. Jeez, he's such an interesting man, isn't he? On October 18, 1975, Richie married his college sweetheart, Brenda Harvey. In 1986, while still married to Harvey, Lionel began a relationship with Diane Alexander. He would later separate from Harvey and in 1988, she allegedly discovered Richie and Alexander together in a Beverly Hills hotel room by saying she was "room service" and breaking in the door. Busted! We still love him though. And even more, we love his video. Check it out!

2. Queen - I want to break free

Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970, originally consisting of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), John Deacon (bass guitar), and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals). Queen's earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works, incorporating further diverse styles into their music. After fans noticed Mercury's increasingly gaunt appearance in 1988, rumours began to spread that Mercury was suffering from AIDS. On 23 November 1991, in a prepared statement made on his deathbed, Mercury confirmed that he had AIDS. Within 24 hours of the statement, he died of bronchial pneumonia, which was brought on as a complication of AIDS. We miss you Freddie!

George Michael - Outside

George Michael (born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. Michael rose to superstardom during the 1980s and 1990s with his style of post-disco dance-pop. He has also been characterized as a blue-eyed soul singer, although his material draws more from middle-of-the-road pop than soul music. Michael first found success after forming the duo Wham! with Andrew Ridgeley in 1981. The band's first album Fantastic reached no. 1 in the UK in 1983 and produced a series of top 10 singles. In a 1999 interview with The Advocate, Michael told the Editor In Chief, Judy Wieder, that it was "falling in love with a man that ended his conflict over bisexuality." "I never had a moral problem with being gay," Michael told Wieder. "I thought I had fallen in love with a woman a couple of times. Then I fell in love with a man, and realized that none of those things had been love. Questions of Michael's sexual orientation persisted in public until 7 April 1998, when he was arrested for "engaging in a lewd act" in a public restroom of the Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills, California. In 2007, Michael said that hiding his sexuality made him feel "fraudulent", and his eventual outing, when he was arrested in 1998, was a "subconsciously deliberate act". This video refers to this event.
